The War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords certificate is named to Unteroffizier (NCO) Max Rösch of Landesschützen Battalion 3/321. It is dated to January 30, 1943 and carries a facsimile signature of Generaloberst (colonel general) Maximilian von Weichs, commander-in-chief of Army Group B, as well as a signature in black ink by an adjutant and Oberst (colonel), the name is illegible. Measuring 139 mm (w) x 199 mm (h), presenting two folding creases and light overall creasing, remains better than very fine.
