The map is a Deutsche Heereskarte (German Army Map), issued by the OKH, the army supreme command. It is part of the series of maps of the Alpen- und Donau-Reichsgaue (Alpine and Danube Reich districts). The scale is 50,000:1. The map shows the region around the town of Drosendorf, present-day Drosendorf-Zissersdorf, northeast Austria, at the border to the Czech Republic, and the surrounding area. Another landmark is the river Thaya. Measuring 480x686mm, near extremely fine condition with multiple folding creases, light scuffing and creasing of the edges, and minor age-related discolouration at the bottom.
