The documents are the following: an Iron Cross 2nd Class award document (139x198mm, near very fine); a Wound Badge in Black award document (140x200mm, near very fine); an Eastern Front Medal award document (140x199mm, near very fine). The Iron Cross 2nd Class award document is named to Obergefreiter (Corporal) Wilhelm Herbergs of the 1st Company of Signals Battalion 122. It is dated to December 23, 1943 and signed in blue ink by the commander of the 122nd Infantry Division, Generalleutnant Kurt Chill (1895–1976), a recipient of the Knight’s Cross. The Wound Badge in Black award document is named to Obergefreiter Willi Herbergs of the same unit as stated above for being wounded once on December 18, 1943. It is dated to January 8, 1944 and signed in blue ink by a medical officer, a Stabsarzt, the name is illegible. The Eastern Front Medal award document is named to Gefreiter (Lance Corporal) Willi Herbergs. It is dated to August 4, 1942 and signed in blue crayon by an Oberleutnant (Senior Lieutenant) and unit leader, the name is illegible.
