What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

(Kriegsmarine Verleihungsurkunden). A mixed lot of three Kriegsmarine award documents, including:

 

 

1. A certificate of merit to Stabsgefreiter Dick, constructed of paper stock with multi-coloured ink issued for meritorious mechanical service for the service years 1933/34, measuring 160 mm (w) x 204 mm (h), with a central folding crease visible, in near extremely fine condition.

 

 

2. An award document for a Minesweeper War Badge, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, named to Signalgefreiter Rudolf Michels, issued on board a Kriegsmarine ship on 2 October 1941, featuring the handwritten signature of Konteradmiral (later Vizeadmiral) Hans Stohwasser (Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross, 30 November 1940), measuring 208 mm (w) x 298 mm (h), with minor material fatigue evident, in near extremely fine condition.

 

 

3. A second award document for a Minesweeper War Badge, constructed of off-white paper stock with multi-coloured ink, named to Matrose Karl Kemmler of 40. Minensuchflottille (40th Minesweeper Flotilla), issued at staff headquarters on 27 April 1943, featuring the handwritten signature of Kapitän Erich Alfred Breuning (German Cross in Gold, 24 September 1944), measuring 140 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), with a central folding crease visible, in near extremely fine condition.
