A rare set of award documents to Alfons Enderle, including a document for an Iron Cross, II Class, constructed of off-white paper with black ink, dated 8 July 1941, named to “MASCHINENOBERGEFREITEN ALFONS ENDERLE”, featuring an original handwritten signature of Vizeadmiral Karl Dönitz, measuring 138 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), with minor age-appropriate material fatigue and soiling evident, in overall near extremely fine condition, and; a Line-Crossing Ceremony (Äquatortaufe) document, constructed of off-white paper, featuring a detailed green ink map of the equator with seafaring imagery, named to “MASCH. OB. GEF. ENDERLE”, dated 16 September 1941, and issued onboard a Kriegsmarine vessel in the Atlantic Ocean, measuring 230 mm (w) x 290 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
