1. A document for a 1939 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, named to Drechsel as a Wachtmeister of 1. Batterie, Flak-Regiment 501, issued at headquarters on 10 January 1942, featuring the handwritten signature of an Oberst and Luftwaffe Commander of Army Group South which is possibly Josef Brunner, measuring 140 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
2. A document for a Romanian Crusade Against Communism Medal, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, issued by the Romanian Ministry of Defence on 16 July 1942, named to Drechsel as a Platonierului (Platoon Leader) of 1. Batterie, Flak-Regiment 501, measuring 230 mm (w) x 350 mm (h), with multiple folding creases evident, in very fine condition; accompanied by a preliminary Wehrmacht document informing Drechsel that he has been awarded the decoration, printed on paper stock with black ink and dated 20 July 1943, featuring the handwritten signature of an unidentified Hauptmann and Battery Chief, measuring 208 mm (w) x 142 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
3. A document for an Eastern Front Medal. Constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, named to Drechsel as a Wachtmeister of 1. Batterie, Flak-Regiment 501, issued on 20 September 1942, featuring the handwritten signature of Oberst Claus-Peter Jebens (German Cross in Gold, 20 October 1942), measuring 139 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; accompanied by a Feldpost letter, constructed of paper with black ink, dated 3 September 1943, indicating that Drechsel’s Eastern Front Medal and award document have been forwarded, retaining its original Feldpost envelope, bearing a Feldpost number of “29 713”, measuring 145 mm (w) x 104 mm (h), with only slight material fatigue evident, in near extremely fine condition.
4. A document for a Krim Shield, constructed of off-white paper with black ink, named to Drechsel as a Wachtmeister of 1. Battery, Flak-Regiment 501, issued on 25 March 1943, featuring a facsimile signature of Generalfeldmarschall Erich von Manstein, measuring 148 mm (w) x 207 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; accompanied by a Feldpost letter, constructed of off-white paper and dated 10 August 1943, indicating that Drechsel’s Krim Shield and Romanian Crusade Against Communism Medal have been forwarded to him along with their award documents, featuring the handwritten signature of an unidentified Hauptmann and Battery Chief, bearing a Feldpost number of “29 713”, measuring 146 mm (w) x 104 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
