The map outlines the Axis powers’ realm of influence in blue, the Allied realm of influence in red, and neutral countries in white after the first year of the war on August 31, 1940. Arrows with dates show the German advances into France, Poland, Denmark, and Norway, and outline the restricted zone around the UK. This is poster no. 10 of the RPL (Reichspropagandaleitung = National Propaganda Administration). Measuring 590x830mm, very fine condition with light creasing, multiple folding creases, three small holes where the creases meet, two small tears on the left side along the creases, and three adhesive remnants on the top and bottom each. In original envelope, measuring 317x241mm, better than very fine condition with light creasing and scuffing.
