What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Twenty-Two Percent (22%) of the Hammer Price

Germany, NSFK. A National Socialist Flyers Corps Stick Pins with Accompanying Documents

A grouping of a stick pin, with a Sponsor ID card, and a NSFK membership certificate. 1) The stick pin is constructed of zink, depicting a mobile swastika superimposed on a statue of Icarus in flight, all within a ring, inscribed “NSFK” and “F” for “Förderer/Supporter”, maker marked, marked “Ges. Gesch.” and “18837” on the reverse, with a previously repaired vertical stick pin, measuring 24.87 mm (w) x 21.32 mm (h). 2) The Sponsor of the NSFK ID card was issued to Gottfried Podes in Hanover, serving on the 2nd Company of Infanterie-Ersatz-Bataillon (Infantry Replacement Battalion) 211, born in Melkow (today part of Wust-Fischbeck, eastern Germany) on June 18, 1916. It is dated to Hanover on June 20, 1940 and contains sponsor’s fee stamps starting in May 1940 and ending with September 1943. Measuring 105 mm (w) x 149 mm (h), with scuffing and light creasing, remains near very fine. 3) The certificate was issued by Group 9 of the NSFK, stating that Podes is a certified member of the sponsors of the NSFK since May 10, 1940. Podes could not join the NSFK officially due to already being a member of the Wehrmacht, yet has unofficially passed the Glider Pilot A exam since becoming a sponsor. The certificate is dated to Hanover on December 23, 1942 and is signed in blue ink by an NSFK-Obertruppführer, the named is illegible. The document bears the stamp of NSFK Sturm 3/50. Measuring 201 mm (w) x 296 mm (h), with light fraying, some creasing, two folding creases, and two punched holes, remains near very fine.
