Germany, SS. A HIAG Tracing Service File for SS-Hauptsturmführer Weckmann

(HIAG Suchdienst Papier). A HIAG (Mutual Aid Association of Former Waffen-SS Members) Tracing Service file for SS-Hauptsturmführer Weckmann. Born on 9 December 106 in Flensburg, Weckmann served with the 22nd SS Volunteer Cavalry Division Maria Theresia. His last known whereabouts were in Budapest in December 1944. The request for information was filed by his wife, then a resident of the city of Bochum. It features a black-and-white photo of Weckmann in the uniform of a Sturmführer. Measuring 210 mm (w) x 150 mm (h), this unusual handwritten file is in an overall near extremely fine condition.
