(HIAG Suchdienst Papier). A HIAG (Mutual Aid Association of Former Waffen-SS Members) Tracing Service file for for SS-Oberscharführer Siegfried Weissschädel (presumably Weißschädel). Born on 4 February 1923 in Essen-Werden, Weissschädel served with the 22nd SS Volunteer Cavalry Division Maria Theresia. His last confirmed communication was on 17 December 1944, when he was in Budapest during the Red Army’s siege of the city. The request for information was filed by his mother, Emilie. It features a black-and-white photo of Weissschädel, notably wearing a Close Combat Clasp. Measuring 210 mm (w) x 145 mm (h), it is in an extremely fine condition.
