A rare Waffen-SS Wehrpaß constructed of a card stock binding with all 53 paginated interior pages intact, featuring handwritten entries indicating that it was issued to Helmut Ernst Wilhelm Hoffmann, born 24 September in Mainz, who entered active SS service in late 1939 with SS-Totenkopf-Standarte 5, and later served with SS-Totenkopf-Regiment 10 (transitioning to SS-Infanterie-Regiment 10 through 1940), concluding his wartime service as a member of the staff of a Waffen-SS training school, with an undated award entry for the War Merit Cross II Class with Swords, retaining a certified studio portrait of Hoffmann, measuring 105 mm (w) x 145 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
