A 1938 edition of “Pour le Mérite Flieger” (“Pour le Mérite Pilots”), constructed of a card stock binding, the cover bearing a full-colour illustration of the eponymous decoration, the interior content consisting of 547 paginated pages featuring detailed biographies of First World War Air Force personnel who received the Pour le Mérite, supplemented by a number of black-and-white photographs, published in 1938 by Curt Pechstein, München, measuring 140 mm (w) x 215 mm (h), with significant deterioration of the spine evident, in overall fair condition.
