A large mixed lot of paper items, including a pair of identity books to Gustav Pickhardt, featuring a Wehrpaß contained within its original case, opening with a black-and-white photo of Pickhardt, featuring an large number of handwritten entries indicating that he served with a Luftwaffe construction unit through 1941, measuring 108 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), with consistent soiling and material fatigue evident throughout, in very fine condition, and an Organisation Todt (OT) service book, issued to Pickhardt on 24 September 1940 and indicating that he worked as a mining engineer, measuring 105 mm (w) x 144 mm (h), in very fine condition; two NSRL membership and record books to Emil Schweidweiler, each measuring 104 mm (w) x 146 mm (h), in very fine condition; an Arbeitsbuch named to Nikolaus Kirsch, measuring 105 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a mixed lot of 23 private wartime photographs, consisting of studio portraits and field images of Wehrmacht personnel from various service branches, many depicting decorations in wear, accompanied by three First World War photos (including two cabinet cards), of various sizes, some displaying handwritten inscriptions on the reverse, in overall near extremely fine condition, and; 17 First and Second World War period postcards, in overall near extremely fine condition.
