(HJ Porträt). A rare and unique signed wartime portrait of HJ leader Baldur von Schirach, depicted in the uniform of a NSDAP Reichsleiter after leaving his post with the HJ to become Reichsstatthalter of Vienna (10 August 1940), clearly visible across the obverse is a handwritten green ink dedication of “FÜR FRITZ TODT, BALDUR VON SCHIRACH” with a date of “24. XII. 41.”, indicating that the photo was a gift to Reich Minister for Armaments and Ammunition Fritz Todt, the reverse in unused postcard format with a studio mark of “PHOTO-HOFFMANN, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 92 mm (w) x 142 mm (h), a personalized and dedicated photo in extremely fine condition.
