Germany, Third Reich. A Wedding Edition Mein Kampf, with Case, to the Weiss/Plattner Family
(Mein Kampf). A very well-preserved wedding edition Mein Kampf, constructed of a card stock binding with marbled front and back covers joined by a faux red leather spine bearing a gilt name and title, with 781 paginated pages featuring the first twelve chapters of book one of the seminal text of the NSDAP, with all content in Fraktur script, the title bearing a handwritten dedication from the Mayor of Untermenzing (a suburb of Munich) to a newly-married couple named Weiss and Plattner, dated 6 August 1938, an edition published in 1937 by the central publishing house of the NSDAP in Munich, measuring 124 mm (w) x 185 mm (h), accompanied by its period original storage card, constructed of a black card stock shell, the book displaying slight wear to the binding and spine but without compromising any pages, in overall near extremely fine condition.
