This is a very well-preserved edition of “Orders, Decorations, Medals and Badges of the Third Reich: Volume 2”, by David Littlejohn and C.M. Dodkins. The book consists of a heavy card stock binding with a purple exterior. The cover bears a full-colour illustration of the Order of Merit of the Independent State of Croatia, circumscribed by the authors and title. The book’s content consists of 192 glossed white paper stock pages with black ink text, supplemented by black-and-white facsimile images of decorations and personnel. Its content emphasizes Reich- and Regional-level Third Reich decorations, as well as decorations of Axis satellite states and occupied Europe. It was published in 1973 by R. James Bender Publishing of Mountain View, California. The book measures 155 mm (w) x 230 mm (h). Minor material fatigue and fading is evident to the exterior cover, but it is in an overall near extremely fine condition.
