A Lappland Shield award document to Obergefreiter Karl Schroeder, of the 4th Company of the Landeschutzen Batallion 809, issued in Starum, Norway on 17 July 1945, presenting a signature in black ink, stamped with an official seal in black ink, measuring 14.8 cm (w) x 20.8 cm (h), displaying two folding creases, mild scuffing along edges, and in overall near very fine condition.
