A lot of four postwar signed photos of Panzer Ace Otto Carius (Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross, 4 May 1944; with Oak Leaves, 27 July 1944), one depicting Carius in front of a Tiger I with his crew, one depicting a Tiger I loaded onto a railcar, and two depicting a Tiger I in a field, all overlaid on the obverse by Carius’ handwritten signature in black ink, three of the photos bearing Carius’ handwritten inscriptions in blue ink providing image context, all measuring 148 mm (w) x 102 mm (h), a superb lot of dedicated photos from a famed Panzer commander in extremely fine condition.
