Germany, Wehrmacht. A Wehrpaß to Obergefreiter Martin Schwarz, Transport/Supply Service
(Wehrpaß). Constructed of a field-grey card stock binding with 52 paginated interior pages filled with stamped and handwritten entries, retaining a certified black-and-white photograph of the bearer, measuring 105 mm (w) x 145 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
Footnote: Martin Schwarz was born on 31 October 1916 in the Breslau region. He became eligible for Wehrmacht service on 5 May 1936 and fulfilled mandatory Reicharbeitsdienst (Reich Labour Service/RAD) from the same year. He entered active military service in the summer of 1939 and served with a number of transport and supply units until the end of service recorded in the book, which is signed and closed off as of 6 January 1944.
