A 1937 Leipzig Spring Trade Fair ID ticket & badge

In silvered and painted steel, measuring 27mm, marked on reverse, near very fine. Document measuring 7.4 x 10.5 cm, fine. A ticket to the Leipzig Spring Trade Fair in 1937 to Mrs. Paula Schönberner (or similar). The trade fair was held from Feb 28th till March 8th. It included the latest in machinery, engineering, technology, construction, photography, cinema, and more. The ticket states the rules of admission and conduct. It also includes advertisement by the company Bakelite. The badge shows the M sign (for “Messe”, trade fair) that has served as the corporate identity symbol for the event. Underneath is the name and date of the event: Leipziger Frühjahrsmesse 1937. The ID number on the ticket corresponds with the number engraved on the back of the badge.
