A debenture bond from the state of Mecklenburg, stating that the state will pay the owner of this bond 100 Reichsmark. This money will generate 4% interest over a period of 30 years. Then, at the latest, the money has to be collected. If not, the contract will be void. This money is part of the overall bond of 25,000,000 Reichsmark. The bond is signed in Schwerin on Apr 1st, 1942 on behalf of the Mecklenburg state ministry’s department of finances and carries the facsimile of Friedrich Scharf (1897–1974), the governor of Mecklenburg. On the back the detailed terms of the contract are outlined, including the banks where the interest can be collected.
