A Rare NSDAP Campaign Poster for the Election on March 5, 1933
A NSDAP Campaign Poster for the Election on March 5, 1933, in form of a bill issued to the “starving German Volk”, listing major political events, year by year, and blaming the Social Democratic Party (SPD) for all of them. The bill states that it is “payable” on March 5, 1933 (election day), and that voting Adolf Hitler will result in “abrechnung” for all of the listed political events. “Abrechnung”, in this case, is a play on words and has a double meaning; it stands for both “revenge” (presumably for the negative political events caused by the SPD), and “balancing of books”; single neat fold; measuring 518 mm x 241 mm; near mint condition.
