The album contains 115 photos, as well as 24 lose pictures. The pictures of the first pages show an army camp with soldiers in training. Quite a few photos were taken during a trip of German soldiers to the Basque country in northeastern Spain in 1940. The purpose of this trip is unknown. The following nine photos were taken during the Polish campaign, specifically on September 25, 1939. All of these feature A.H. Several pictures were taken on the British Channel island of Guernsey, however none of these feature German soldiers. A few pictures were taken in Saint-Malo, Brittany (northern France). Some of the lose pictures were taken in Poltava, Ukraine. The photos measure between 58 (w) x 56 (h) mm and 129x180mm, remaining fair to extremely fine. The photo album comes with a period 6 page transcript of Russian Regiment Constable Uronow, leader of the political propaganda department of the 8th Army. The original was dated to May 4, 1941, the transcript is from July 10, 1941. In the paper, Uronow talks about the state of moral in the German army, the likelihood of support from the civilians in the Ukraine and Poland in case of a war between Germany and Russia, and how to create an anti German and pro Russian atmosphere in the German-occupied regions. Measuring 210 (w) x 294 (h) mm, with light scuffing and some creasing, remains near very fine.
