A Soldbuch & Documents to the 1st Battery of the 34th Regiment in France 
                Soldbuch, 24 pages, in worn condition; War Merit Cross 2nd Class Document, folded, in fine condition; Certificate of Promotion to Wachtmeister, fine condition; Certificate of Appointment to Assistant, folded, in fine condition; Army Administration School Certificate of Completion, in fine condition; Document of a 4th Class Long Service Medal, in fine condition; 7 Photographs. Foonote: Pfirrmann was born on June 16th, 1908 in Wörth am Rhein. He was raised in a protestant family, his mother was Karoline and his father was deceased before the issue of his Soldbuch; he was married to Maria Pfirrmann. Prior to the war he held an office job working as an administrative official. He stood at 179 cm tall, stocky build, with blur eyes, blond hair and a beard. He had all of these personal details verified and stamped on the 27th of October, 1939 by the commander of the 2nd Reserve Artillery Battery, 33rd Army Regiment. At the time of issue of his Soldbuch he held the rank of Wachtmeister. He was promoted to that rank from Unteroffizier on October 1st, 1936, as indicated by the relevant promotion document. He received a Long Service Award for 8 years in the army on October 2nd, 1936. He then went on to attend an Army Administration School in Darmstadt from November 1936 to July 1939, and successfully completed the final exam. On the 24th of December, 1940, while serving with the 1st Reserve Artillery Battery of the 34th Regiment, he was awarded the War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords. On March 2nd, 1942, he was officially made a candidate for the rank of an official in the Army. On the 23rd of October he was officially made an Assistant, as indicated by the formal document. There is however a third rank adjustment on the first page of his Soldbuch which indicates that he was again made a Wachtmeister on the 20th of October, 1944.
