A Wehrpass to SS-Hauptsturmfuhrer Hermann Schifferdecker, SS-Handschar Division 1/SS-Gebirgs- Jäger-Regiment 27 and SS Regiment Deutschland (1939-41) ; Wehrpass, with all pages, with his photo, issued in 1939, full of entries; pages 11-12 show him as serving in SS Regiment Deutschland (from 1939- until 1941; and he was wounded); page 23 indicated he received Iron Cross 1st Class on 30.3.1945, as a member of 13. SS- Division “Handschar”; Wehrpass slightly stained, in very good condition. Footnote: SS-Hauptsturmfuhrer Hermann Schifferdecker was born 10. Aug. 1921 Zuzenhausen/Heidelberg; SS # 359 733; NSDAP # 7 083 349; SS-Ustuf. in 4./Pz.GR.3 in April 1941; SS-Ostuf. in 13./Geb.JR.27 in Jun 1944; Promoted SS-Hstuf on 30 Jan 1945; Hermann Schifferdecker commanded I./Waffen-Gebirgs-Jäger Regiment der SS 27 (kroatisches Nr. 1) from Feb. 17, 1945-April 8, 1945. There is a note in the work cited below that he was awarded the DKiG in April 1945. In a book by George Lepre, “HIMMLER'S. BOSNIAN. DIVISION. C. The Waffen-SS.
