A 1941 Luftwaffe Airbase Notice
Measuring 215x288mm, very fine condition with multiple folding creases. The leaflet was issued by the administration of Fliegerhorstkommandantur (airbase command) Memmingen on December 13, 1941 in place of the local bank of Memmingen. It states that drastically cutting costs (“Eisern sparen!”) is imperative for every German as part of the war effort. Anything that is not vital should not be purchased until after the war. The leaflet goes on to explain how the bank will help in open savings accounts and what the conditions and incentives are.
