A Civil Service Faithful Service Medal in Gold, measuring 41mm, complete with ribbon, measuring 35x46mm, near mint condition, and the award certificate, measuring 209x297mm, extremely fine condition with minor scuffing, and folding crease in the middle. The award was issued for 40 years of faithful service. The recipient is Oberpostinspektor (Senior Post Supervisor) Hermann Schwarz from Stuttgart, southern Germany. The document is dated to December 16, 1939, and carries a facsimile of AH.
