A grouping of German Red Cross related documents, consisting of two Red Cross personnel cards (234x169mm and 209x148mm, extremely fine condition with light scuffing), a Red Cross check-up slip, dated to June 3, 1940 (209x149mm, near mint condition with folding crease), a handwritten résumé by Ziegler (209x294mm, extremely fine condition with folding creases), and three identical photos in uniform, one on the personnel card (43x64mm, extremely fine condition, lightly warped).
Footnote: Luise Emilie Ziegler was born June 20, 1921 in Kieselbronn, southwest Germany, where she grew up as the daughter of a farmer. After finishing eight years of school, she worked on the family farm and also received two and a half years of additional education at a continuation school in Pforzheim. In late 1939, she went to the agricultural school in Pforzheim, but already in January 1940 she joined the RedCross . Ziegler took the basic class from February to June 1940 and qualified as an auxiliary nurse. She was then sworn in in October 1940.
