A Hero's Death Certificate in Honour of the Fallen Soldier Lieutenant Kajetan Geisenhofer

This is a Hero's death certificate in honour of the fallen Leutnant Kajetan Geisenhofer. It states “In the field of honour, died the hero's death, for the Führer, Volk, and Vaterland, Lieutenant Kajetan Geisenhofer, 3./Geb.Pz.Jäger.Abt.44, during a reconnaissance patrol on the Marienfeld (Dnjepr) on 14.9.1941. The 1st Mountain Division commemorates his faithfulness, reverence, and pride.” The document measures 278 mm x 199 mm, and is very well preserved, with some discolouration due to age, as well as two small holes on the page. Better than very fine condition.
