What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

(HJ Ausweispapiere). A mixed lot of ten HJ identity documents and paper items, including:

1. A pair of documents named to “GERHARD HIßLING”, including an HJ Dienstausweis (Identity Card), constructed of light brown card stock with multi-coloured ink, issued on 20 April 1940, measuring 12 cm (w) x 8.5 cm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a German Stenographer’s Association identity card, constructed of off-white paper with multi-coloured ink, dated 28 March 1941 and featuring a black-and-white photo, measuring 15 cm (w) x 10.5 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.

2. A pair of Deutsches Jungvolk (DJ) documents named to “EDGAR NEUBECK”, including a Merit Book, constructed of a card stock binding with 61 paginated interior pages lightly filled with handwritten and stamped entries detailing Neubeck’s physical performances, notably retaining black-and-white photos of Neubeck as a member of both the DJ and HJ, measuring 11.5 cm (w) x 16.5 cm (h), in near extremely fine condition, and; a Schießbuch (Shooting Book), constructed of a paper stock binding with 16 paginated interior pages filled with handwritten entries detailing Neubeck’s marksmanship performance, measuring 10.5 cm (w) x 14.5 cm (h), in near extremely fine condition.

3. An HJ Identity Card, constructed of beige card stock with black ink, with an illegible handwritten name and details, measuring 11.5 cm (w) x 7.5 cm (h), with material fatigue throughout, in fair condition.

4. A DAF/HJ Reichs Trade Youth identity card, constructed of grey card stock with black ink, named to “EDITH MYNCZYKOWSKI”, lightly filled with handwritten entries, measuring 9.5 cm (w) x 13.5 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.

5. An HJ insurance card, constructed of beige card stock with multi-coloured ink and bearing a handwritten name, measuring 12 cm (w) x 8 cm (h), in very fine condition.

6. An unissued HJ health pass, constructed of slate-grey card stock with black ink, measuring 8.5 cm (w) x 12 cm (h), in near mint condition.

7. A small HJ songbook, constructed of a beige paper binding with 30 paginated interior pages, measuring 7 cm (w) x 10.5 cm (h), with separating from the binding evident, in very fine condition.

8. A small colourized paper cutout of a DJ member carrying a flag, unmarked, measuring 3.5 cm (w) x 8 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.
