The document states that the engineer Heinz Kleuen has been appointed technical Reich Railroad Inspector Cadet and thereby has officially become a civil servant of the German Reich. The document is dated to Berlin on March 11, 1943 and signed by proxy for the president of the local Reich Railroad department. The signature is in black ink and reads “Krüger” or similar. A second signature in blue ink in the lower right corner may read “Thiele”. Measuring 253 (w) x 354 (h) mm, with some creasing and a horizontal folding crease in the middle, remains near very fine.
