An Order from the SS Leadership to the Entire SS & Police in the Event of their Death During Service
This is an order stemming from the Reichsführer of the SS and Chief of the German Police, Heinrich Himmler, regarding the future of the Mother’s/Widows and children, in the event of their death of SS-Men and Policemen during active service. Within it, Himmler addresses the apparent common concern what would happen to the wife and their progeny in the event of their death. To address this concern, Himmler guarantees his SS-Men and soldiers that the SS leadership will ensure that the mothers and children of fallen soldiers and policemen will be subsidized until the child’s 18th birthday, in terms of living and education. Most importantly, Himmler insures his men, that he will do so regardless of whether the children were conceived outside of wedlock, as long as the children are pure. The document features the facsimile of Himmler towards the bottom right of the page; measuring 296 mm x 210 mm; previously folded, with four fold marks; in mint/near mint condition.
