(HIAG Suchdienst Papier). A HIAG (Mutual Aid Association of Former Waffen-SS Members) Tracing Service file for SS-Oberscharführer Willi Janousch. Born 18 November 1910 in Dobraken, Sudetenland (now Doubravka, Czech Republic), Janousch served with Artillerie-Regiment 8 of the 8th SS Cavalry Division Florian Geyer. According to the document, his last known whereabouts were in Budapest on 22 December 1944, as the city came under siege from the Red Army. The request for information was filed by Hermine Janousch, who is presumably his wife. It features a black-and-white photograph of Janousch in an Oberscharführer’s uniform. Measuring 210 mm (w) x 140 mm (h), it is in an overall near extremely fine condition.
