A 1942 Romanian Faithful Service Medal with Swords Document
A certificate, measuring 229x352mm, near extremely fine condition with light scuffing, folding creases, and a small hole where the creases meet. It was issued by the Romanian Ministry of National Defence and states that Corporal Reinhold Flotkötter of the 1st Battalion of Flak Regiment 14 is awarded the Faithful Service Medal with Swords, Class III-a. The document is dated to July 16, 1942. It carries the facsimile of Defence Minister General Constantin Pantazi, and a signature by a Colonel and Staff Director, the name is indecipherable.At the time, Flak Regiment 14 was stationed in the vicinity of Sevastopol on the Crimean peninsula.
