To NCO Felix Patalas. It is dated to January 30, 1943, and carries a facsimile of the Supreme Commander West, Generalfeldmarschall Gerd von Rundstedt (1875–1953), recipient of the Knight’s Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords. Patalas served in the 1st Detachment of the Armoured Artillery Regiment 2 (Sfl. = Selbstfahrlafette, self-propelled artillery).(C:142)
