A certificate, measuring 138x201, near extremely fine condition with folding crease, minor fraying, and a small hole at the bottom. It states that Gefreiter (Lance Corporal) Paul Hofer of the 3rd Company of Luftgau Signals Regiment Charkow (Kharkov) has been awarded the Wound Badge in Black for being wounded once on January 14, 1943. The document is dated to Cholm (Kholm) on March 29, 1943 and signed in blue ink by the Staff Chief Medical Officer of Reserve Military Hospital II, Zimmermann.
