Germany, Third Reich. A Pair of Award Documents to Nikolaus Müller
(Verleihungsurkunden). A pair of award documents to Nikolaus Müller, including a German League of the Reich for Physical Exercise (DRL) Honour Certificate, constructed of an off-white paper stock binder with black and red ink, awarded in recognition of many years of service to the East Essen Gymnastics Association, dated “20. OKTOBER 1938” and issued at Duisburg, secured together by a white threaded cord, measuring 298 mm (w) x 420 mm (h), age-appropriate material fatigue evident, in overall near extremely fine condition, and; a National Socialist Reich Warriors’ League (NSRKB) Long Service Honour Certificate, constructed of paper stock, the obverse with a finely-detailed full-colour depiction of the Kyffhäuser Monument, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika and banner, dated “1. 8. 1942”, issued at Berlin, measuring 283 mm (w) x 412 mm (h), minor material fatigue evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.
