1) An Iron Cross Second Class award document named to Obergefreiten (Senior Lance Corporal) Heinrich “Heinz” Appel of the 2nd Company of Infanterie-Regiment 278, signed in black ink, by the division commander of the 95th Infanterie-Division, Generalleutnant (Lieutenant General) Hans-Heinrich Sixt von Arnim (1890-1952), a recipient of the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross in 1941, on 9 January 1942, measuring 140 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), very minimal marks and minimal fraying, and in extremely fine condition.

2) A Silver Grade Infantry Assault Badge award document named to Obergefreiten (Senior Lance Corporal) Heinrich “Heinz” Appel of the 2nd Company of Infanterie-Regiment 278, signed in black ink, by the regiment commander, on 26 September 1942, measuring 149 mm (w) x 210 mm (h), very minimal marks and minimal creasing, and in extremely fine condition.

3) A Black Grade Wound Badge award document named to Unteroffizier (NCO) Heinrich “Heinz” Appel of the 2nd Company of Division Fusilier Battalion 195, signed in crayon, by the battalion commander, on 28 January 1944, measuring 143.5 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), very minimal marks and minimal creasing, and in extremely fine condition.
