What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

(Heer Verleihungsurkunden). A lot of three Heer award documents, including one for a Krim Shield, constructed of off-white paper with black ink, named to Gefreiter Ernst Waniek, 13. Kompanie, Radfahr-Abteilung 150, issued at headquarters on 27 August 1942, featuring a facsimile signature of Field Marshal Erich von Manstein, measuring 148 mm (w) x 210 mm (h), with some creasing evident, in overall better than very fine condition; also including two Driver’s Proficiency Badge documents, both named to Obergefreiter Erich Wulf(f), Versogungstaffel (Logistics) Nachrichten-Abteilung 290, including one for a Bronze award, constructed of beige paper stock with multi-coloured ink, issued in the field on 12 May 1943, featuring a handwritten signature of an unidentified Hauptmann and company commander, measuring 140 mm (w) x 202 mm (h), with a central folding crease, in overall near extremely fine condition, and one for a Silver award, constructed of off-white paper paper stock with black ink, issued at field headquarters on 31 July 1944, featuring a handwritten signature of an unidentified Major and company commander, measuring 140 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), with a central folding crease, in overall near extremely fine condition.
