A lot of award documents named to Wilhelm Westhoff, Heavy Cruiser “Prinz Eugen” crew, including a document for a 1939 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of off-white paper with black ink, named to “BOOTSMANN WILHELM WESTHOFF”, dated 14 June 1941, issued on board the Prinz Eugen, with a handwritten signature of Admiral Otto Schniewind, measuring 140 mm (w) x 198 mm (h), with a spot of rust soiling from a paper clip evident to the obverse left, in overall near extremely fine condition.

A document for a 1939 Iron Cross I Class, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, named to “BOOTSMANN WILHELM WESTHOFF”, dated 17 February 1942, issued on board the Prinz Eugen, with a handwritten signature of Admiral Otto Schniewind, measuring 140 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

A document for a High Seas Fleet Badge, constructed of off-white paper stock, named to “BOOTSMANN WESTHOFF”, dated 30 March 1942, with a handwritten signature of Admiral Otto Schniewind, measuring 140 mm (w) x 204 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

A promotion document, constructed of off-white paper with black ink, issued on board the Prinz Eugen on 21 September 1940, promoting Westhoff to Bootsman, retroactive from 1 September, signed by Fregattenkapitän Stooß, measuring 210 mm (w) x 296 mm (h), with a central folding crease and minor soiling evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.

A July 1942 issue of “DIE KRIEGSMARINE” magazine, the front cover featuring an illustration of the Prinze Eugen in battle, with twelve pages of articles, measuring 240 mm (w) x 330 mm (h), with a central folding crease and material fatigue evident, in overall very fine condition, and;

A March 1942 issue of “DIE WEHRMACHT” magazine, the cover bearing a photograph of the Prinz Eugen at sea with the battleships “Gneisenau” and “Scharnhorst”, measuring 268 mm (w) x 365 mm (h), with a central folding crease and material fatigue evident, in overall very fine condition.
