The Pilot Badge certificate is named to Feldwebel (sergeant) Georg Liebherr. It is dated to Berlin on 18 October 1940 and carries a facsimile signature of Gustav Kastner-Kirdorf. Measuring 210 mm (w) x 295 mm (h), presenting multiple folding creases, light overall creasing, and light scuffing of the edges, remains better than fine.
Footnote: Liebherr served in Jagdgeschwader (fighter wing) 26. He died in a flight accident during a training flight when his plane crashed near Diksmuide (western Belgium).
