Germany, RAD. A Regional Labour Service Cap Badge Permit, 1937
A certificate and permit to Arbeitsmann (labourer) Wolf Heinrich, born 6 June 1916 in Freilassing, who has, after 7 months of service in the RAD (Reichsarbeitsdienst = national labour service), earned the right to wear the regional RAD headgear badge (depicted on the upper left of the certificate) of Arbeitsgau (labour region) 30, Bavaria-Hochland. Dated to Munich on 23 October 1937 and presenting a facsimile signature of Generalarbeitsführer (general labour leader) Hans Baumann (1875-1951). Measuring 217 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), presenting two folding creases and light scuffing of the edges, remains better than fine.
