(Heldentodurkunde). A unique and rare Sturmabteilung- (SA) issued Heldentod (Hero’s Death) certificate, constructed of off-white paper stock with multi-coloured printed ink, named to Unteroffizier Gustav Friedhuber Ritter von Grubenthal, also an SA-Obertruppführer for the Salzburg district, who was killed in action on 8 February 1944 in Crimea during the early stages of the Soviet offensive on the peninsula, issued in Salzburg on 13 April 1944, featuring the handwritten signatures of Gauleiter Gustav Adolf Scheel, Kreisleiter Georg Burggaßner, as well as an unidentified Ortsgruppenleiter, measuring 210 mm (w) x 295 mm (h), accompanied by its original folio, constructed of off-white paper stock, the cover bearing a dedication from the Salzburg administration, the interior featuring quotes from AH and a fallen soldier of the First World War, measuring 210 mm (w) x 295 mm (h), with minor fatigue evident, a rare and personalized certificate in near extremely fine condition.
