Measuring 18 x 12.5 cm. Date of item: 1942. Condition: excellent. #1: Förste with a gathering of Kriegsmarine and Luftwaffe officers. #2: Förste with five Kriegsmarine and two Heer officers. #3: Förste walking with a Heer and a Kriegsmarine officer. #4: Förste walking with six Kriegsmarine officers. A stamp on the back says “Marine-Kriegsberichter-Kompanie Nord” (Naval War Report Company North) and “unzensiert”, uncensored. #5: Förste walking with a group of twelve officers. The same stamp, but with the addition “Geheim!”, classified. #6: Grand Admiral Karl Dönitz giving a speech. #7&8: Dönitz and Förste reviewing troops. #9&10: Förste reviewing troops. #11: Förste addressing troops. The back gives more information: Taken in Dec 1942 in the Aegean region, it featured the awarding of the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross for Captain Rolf Johannesson. The picture has been released by the High Command of the Wehrmacht in Feb 1943.
