43 photos, measuring between 69x55mm and 147x105mm, near extremely fine to near mint condition. The photos show young SS soldiers as well as barracks and other buildings. One picture is of particular interest, showing an SS-Oberscharführer wearing an SA sports badge and a DRL sports badge. All four men in that picture wear an SS division “Nordland” cuff title. Many photos carry a stamp on the reverse by photographic studio Lange from Brunswick. A single picture is dated in handwriting to Travemünde (northern Germany). A few photos are dated to 1940, particularly one picture being described as showing “our company building in the snow, January 1940”. One picture shows a man named Hans, his last name is illegible. It is dated to April 1941.
