A mixed lot of seven postcards, including a 1939 Nuremberg Rally card, measuring 105 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), in unused and mint condition; a 1939 Munich Day of German Art card, measuring 102 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), in unused and mint condition; a photograph depicting the personnel of Zerstörer (Destroyer) “Georg Thiele” at sea, the reverse in postcard format and with a handwritten inscription, undated, measuring 140 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), the top edge demonstrating a small hole consistent with being pinned to a surface, in otherwise extremely fine condition; a second photo taken from the deck of the “Georg Thiele”, the reverse in postcard format, unused, measuring 138 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), the top edge demonstrating a small hole consistent with being pinned to a surface, in otherwise extremely fine condition; a third photo taken from the deck of the “Georg Thiele”, the reverse with a handwritten inscription indicating the photo was taken from underneath the Holtenauerbrücke, measuring 90 mm (w) x 140 mm (h), the top edge demonstrating a small hole consistent with being pinned to a surface, in otherwise extremely fine condition; a First World War period postcard depicting an illustration of German and British ships exchanging volleys, measuring 138 mm (w) x 88 mm (h), in unused and near mint condition; a card depicting the SMS “Hessen”, the reverse with a handwritten inscription and Marine-Feldpost mark, measuring 133 mm (w) x 84 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition, and; an ornate Imperial-era card depicting Linienschiff “Kaiser Wilhelm II”, flanked by a gilt embossed depiction of the Kaiser and above a handwritten inscription, set with a period frame, measuring 142 mm (w) x 92 mm (h) (inclusive of frame), in extremely fine condition.
