A mixed lot of Zeppelin air mail postcards, including one posted on 22 April 1929 to a recipient in Seville, Spain (processed on 24 April), carried on LZ 127 (“Graf Zeppelin”) during a Mediterranean voyage, measuring 146 mm (w) x 103 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one posted on in 1929 and carried on LZ 127 during its first around-the-world journey, processed in Los Angeles on 25 August, measuring 140 mm (w) x 83 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; one carried on LZ 129 (“Hindenburg”), addressed to a recipient in New York City and posted on 29 April 1936, processed on 9 May, measuring 144 mm (w) x 100 mm (h), a notable piece of memorabilia from the infamous Hindenburg in extremely fine condition.
