A pair of postwar signed photos of Stuka ace Heinrich Meyering, who flew 972 combat missions and was one of the most successful ground attack pilots in Sturzkampfgeschwader 2 “Immelmann”, including a studio portrait, depicting Meyering in the uniform of a Leutnant and with the Knight’s Cross and other decorations clearly visible, overlaid by Meyering’s handwritten signature in silver ink, the reverse bearing a label with Meyering’s name, address, and telephone number, measuring 102 mm (w) x 150 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; one depicting Meyering’s Knight’s Cross, similarly overlaid by Meyering’s handwritten signature in silver ink, undated, measuring 126 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), very fine.
