An early studio portrait of AH, depicted seated, in civilian dress and wearing a NSDAP Party Badge, the obverse with a studio mark of “PHOTO HOFFMANN, MÜNCHEN”, the reverse with a handwritten graphite pencil autograph, undated, measuring 85 mm (w) x 135 mm (h), accompanied by a silver frame, presenting plain with a glass face, the reverse with a faux blue leather-lined backer closed with dual bronze swivel clips, with a swivel stand and suspension loop, the edge of the frame is marked with a Diana’s Head and letter “A”, indicating Austrian and Viennese manufacture and a silver content of 800, with a silver hallmark stamp of “FV” for Ferdinand Vogel, measuring 65 mm (w) x 246 mm (h), age-appropriate material fatigue is evident to the photograph and the frame, in overall near extremely fine condition.
