A mixed lot of five Reich Labour Service (RAD) photos, including a large group photo depicting RAD Officers and NCOs, in uniform and wearing NSDAP membership armbands, some wearing First World War combat decorations including the 1914 Iron Cross, Wound Badges in various grades, and many displaying the SA and DRL Sports Badge, the reverse bearing the handwritten names and unit numbers of 20 of the subjects, overlaying the stamp of a Rotenburg-based studio, measuring 100 mm (w) x 130 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a small group photo depicting an assembly of RAD Enlisted personnel, in uniform and wearing NSDAP membership armbands, the reverse in unused postcard format, measuring 139 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a second small group photo depicting an assembly of RAD Officers and Enlisted personnel, in uniform and wearing NSDAP membership armbands, the reverse in unused postcard format, measuring 131 mm (w) x 83 mm (h), the reverse with minor damage consistent with album removal, in near extremely fine condition; a small group photo depicting three RAD Enlisted personnel, the reverse in postcard format and featuring a handwritten dedication to a friend, dated September 1935, measuring 88 mm (w) x 138 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; one depicting an RAD Enlisted individual, in uniform and wearing a NSDAP membership armband, the reverse in postcard format and bearing a handwritten inscription identifying the individual as “FRITZ”, printed on Voigtländer paper, measuring 88 mm (w) x 138 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
